Ordered food from here very disapointed normally eat in.
Thought id order a takeaway food arrived very cold hardly any rice at all portions very small for the price get more at abbey kebab takeaway will be first and last time i order from lara grill such a shame as thought they where the best clearly not anymore !!!

Lovely spot in Dagenham. We ordered the classic platter and oh my it was a lot of meat! Too much I think for 2 people 😅 the prawn starter was lovely - wish there was more! And the drinks were lovely too - we got the non alcoholic daiquiri & pina colada. Good spot for families given the portion of their meat platters. I’d suggest they change the birthday song - it’s quite overwhelming when it comes on 😂

Staff very friendly, attentive, excellent service, lovely atmosphere, complimentary Turkish tea/coffee offered doe to monir delay in service, we were happy to wait as, allowed to sit in the restaurant. An excellent Turkish restaurant!
Gluten free and fairy free options not itemised on the menu but, staff are knowledgeable and attentive to this. Suggested they buy some gluten-free pitta breads or non-dairy milk as, not available. Rice as alternative.

Lovely place to eat! Atmosphere is great, very friendly people but make sure you get here nice and early to garentee your spot, it gets so busy 😀

Excellent atmosphere & servers are very polite but for portions of their food, they’re rather expensive & wasn’t particularly big fan of their starters either.
It’s an ‘okay’ place.

Amazing food good hospitality. Best Turkish food in east London hands down. Only restaurant compare to this level are in north London. Would recommend fair price.

Food is generally pretty good, the only thing i think thats changed is the chili dip sauce for £1.50, i think the recipe has changed, it doesnt take like it used to. We usually order extra tubs but going forward i think well drop this off the order.

Great experience, shame they didn’t have any tea left. Priced fairly by parking was awkward as I was under the assumption it was free during my last visit.

Been few times to this restaurant since 2020 and most recently in December 2022 when it seemed renovated.
Visited on 17/01/2025.
You have to pay for parking at the Iceland car park which I was made aware of when I was seated which you previously did not need too.
Was given the complimentary bread and the sauces - bread was not as good as other restaurants I’ve been too where you are also provided with hummus.
Ordered the Lara Mix Grill and Chicken Beyti. The quality of the meat is very good here. The chips portion could be bigger as we did replace it instead of having the rice.
Interior was nice but seating is cramped. Service was good despite it being loud.

Apart from them forgetting about my chips- this place had excellent food. The donner and beyti was lovely. The kunefe wasnt really great but id definitely come back here for the mains. The place is really clean and nice interior, easy parking

I would not go back.
To start with, an older looking woman that served us, seemed not bothered, fed up, behaved as though she was handing out free food, not a single sight of happiness.
I have been to many Turkish restaurants, it's always been a pleasure to eat. Unfortunately, Lara Grill just did not meet the standards.
Kunafeh was tasteless.

Atmosphere and cleanliness was spot on, 10/10, service was impeccable; staff are attentive and listen so orders are accurate and the food was amazing. The Lara special grill plater can easily feed 3 people unless your a hungry man then it will feed 2. Great tasting food around and fresh off of the grill. If you are celebrating a birthday it’s defo worth booking as they also sing their own version of hbd with you.
Toilets are also clean and maintained.
